Our correspondent gathered from eyewitnesses that the armed robbers had attacked a fast-food outlet around Choba Junction last night before killing the mobile policemen attached to a nearby company in their bid to escape.
One of the mobile policemen died instantly; while the other died before he could be rushed to a hospital.
However, spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command, NNEMDI OMONI said details of what happened would be made available soon.
