ABBOTT is replaced by MALCOLM TURNBULL following a dramatic late night party leadership ballot. ABBOTT was removed amid poor opinion polls ratings in a vote that he lost with the margin of forty-four against fifty-four for TURNBULL.
Meanwhile; TURNBULL has ruled out snap general election, after saying he assumed that parliament would serve its full term.
