Tinubu, who spoke while commissioning the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, explained that Wike’s insistence that the presidency must return to the South was part of the factors that guaranteed his victory.
Tinubu described Wike as a man of integrity who abandoned his personal interest for the interest of the nation.
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, also promised to put politics aside and focus more on true governance.
In a remark, Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike blamed Nigeria’s procurement law as one of the major issues affecting projects-delivery in the country.
He explained that his review of Rivers State procurement law was to see that inflation does not affect projects done in the state.
Governor Wike further slam the federal government for failing to work on federal roads, stressing that majority of the projects done in his tenure are all federal roads.
