Tinubu Approves Free CAC Registration for 250,000 MSMEs Nationwide

President Bola Tinubu has approved free registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) for 250,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria.

The initiative is aimed at formalising small businesses, improving access to finance, and enabling more entrepreneurs to benefit from government support programmes and other business opportunities.

The Federal Government said the scheme is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the MSME sector, promote entrepreneurship, and stimulate economic growth by reducing the cost of business registration.

Under the programme, eligible businesses will have their CAC registration fees fully covered, allowing them to operate legally and access incentives available to registered enterprises.

The government noted that the initiative forms part of President Tinubu’s broader economic reforms focused on supporting small businesses, creating jobs, and expanding financial inclusion across the country.
