The Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal has concluded hearing on the petition brought by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate, DAKUKU PETERSIDE.
The petitioners are challenging the election of Governor NYESON WIKE of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The PDP which is the third respondent closed its defence yesterday, with one more day left out of six days allotted for respondents to present their defence.
The PDP counsel presented volumes of documents used for the conduct of the election on the 11th of April to justify the election of Governor WIKE.
However; the party did not present any witness in its defence.
Meanwhile; all the parties involved in the case are expected to adopt their final addresses next week, after which a date would be set aside for tribunal to deliver judgment.
