The Nigerian Prisons Service has denied rumors suggesting that the suspected mastermind of the Independence Day bombing in Abuja in 2010, CHARLES OKAH, has died in prison custody.
The rumors spread a day after the accused mastermind was reported to have attempted suicide inside a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
A statement issued from the Nigerian Prison Service Headquarters by the Prisons Public Relations Officer, ENOBORE FRANCIS, affirmed that CHARLES OKAH is alive, hale and hearty under the safe custody of the Nigerian Prison Service.
