The Nigerian Navy’s Central Naval Command in Bayelsa state has destroyed one thousand, five hundred drums of diesel and one illegal oil refining camp in Ekpemu Community, in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State. Flag Officer Commanding the Central Naval Command, Real Admiral APOCHI SULEIMAN, who disclosed this in Warri, said the operation was in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy Ship. Rear Admiral SULEIMAN said that a 30-year-old woman and two men, suspected to be oil thieves, were also arrested during the operation. The Naval Chief advised youths in the area to engage in legitimate business, adding that the Navy was ready to deal with all forms of illegal oil activities in the region.
