The Nigerian Military is reporting that Boko Haram terrorists are fleeing their camps, abandoning vehicles, flags and foodstuffs at Kotambe Kote and Jere axis in the North-East of the country. The Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN revealed in a statement that the military offensive against Boko Haram terrorists is becoming more unbearable on the group. In a statement circulated through Press Release Nigeria; the Army spokesman also said troops of One-O-One Battalion along with members of Nigeria Police Explosive Ordinance Device team, successfully detonated 2 bicycles laden with primed Improvised Explosive Devices at Awaisari village, near Alou Dam.
Meanwhile; reports coming from Borno State capital, Maiduguri says three bomb explosions have killed at least eight people.
The spokesman for the Nigerian Army, Colonel Sani Usman who confirmed the incident to reporters, said the attack reflected the high level of desperation in Boko Haram.
