The House of Representatives has begun investigation into the award of contracts for rail projects, running into one point six-nine billion naira.The Speaker of the House, YAKUBU DOGARA, declared the probe open during a sitting of an Ad Hoc Committee of the House charged with the responsibility.DOGORA reportedly warned that those who are found to have unduly benefitted from contracts awarded by the Nigerian Railway Corporation would face full wrath of the law.The investigation would cover contracts for the rehabilitation of rail tracks, maintenance of bridges, procurement and rehabilitation of coaches and locomotives.JOHNSON AGBONAYINMA is the Chairman of the House Ad-hoc Committee.
