The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has made a direct appeal to Preident MUHAMMADU BUHARI to ignore negative publicity campaign against former governor, ROTIMI CHIBUIKE AMAECHI.

The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has made a direct appeal to Preident MUHAMMADU BUHARI to ignore negative publicity campaign against former governor, ROTIMI CHIBUIKE AMAECHI. The APC declared that the immediate past governor of Rivers State is clean, spotless and untainted by corruption.
State Chairman of the APC, Chief DAVIES IKANYA said ROTIMI AMAECHI qualifies to be counted as a former governor who is not corrupt. In a statement released to newsmen by his spokesman, EZE CHUKWUEMEKA, the State Chairman of the APC maintained that anybody who knows AMAECHI well enough would readily testify that he is an honest, sincere and courageous gentleman. He said the recent broadcast of a television documentary against AMAECHI is part of a propaganda scheme allegedly hatched by Governor NYESOM WIKE in continuation of his political battle against the former governor. The statement concluded by saying it was the conviction of the Rivers APC that denying AMAECHI appointment based on the wicked propaganda is like believing all the falsehoods against President BUHARI during the 2015 election campaigns.
