Premier League referees’ chief Howard Webb has said it was “not unreasonable” for Virgil van Dijk’s goal to be disallowed in Liverpool’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City on Sunday. Van Dijk appeared to have equalised for Liverpool in the 38th minute, but referee Chris Kavanagh and assistant Stuart Burt ruled that Andrew Robertson committed an
