The Surveyor-General of Rivers State, Peter Ogolo, has urged professionals in the built sector to actively participate in politics to strengthen governance and development.
He lamented that many professionals are disconnected from political structures, limiting their influence in decision-making processes.
Stakeholders at a memorial lecture also stressed the need for integrity, accountability and ethical leadership in both professional and political spaces.
