This time; the Senate wants President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to call Professor SAGAY to order over purported uncomplimentary comments on the legislature.

The spokesman for the Senate; ALIYU SABI ABDULLAHI, said Professor SAGAY, was spreading falsehood and making hate speeches against the National Assembly.

Senator ABDULLAHI disclosed in a statement that Professor SAGAY was fond of using every opportunity he has to make public speech to disparage the Federal Legislature.

The Senator said while the legislature had ignored past statements by the Professor of law, his recent speech at a public lecture in Lagos was allegedly laced with false details about the salary and allowances of the legislators.

The Senate spokesman maintained that if Professor SAGAY was in doubt about the earnings of the legislators, he could get the facts from the Revenue Mobilization and Fiscal Allocation Commission.
