Following the arrest of a pastor in Eneka, Obio Akpor Local Government Area, for allegedly dehumanising minors at a church premises, security analyst Charles Inko-Tariah has called on parents to keep a close watch on their children and scrutinise anyone seeking access to them.
Inko-Tariah warned that many individuals now hide under the guise of Christianity to commit crimes and urged the police to curb the growing trend of religious and gang-related violence in Rivers State.
However, one of the parents, Ngozi Nwagaga, dismissed the allegations, stating that the activity in question was a spiritual exercise carried out with the consent of the parents.
