Rivers State Police Command confirms hijack of a coaster bus travelling along Omoku Elele link Road by unknown gunmen.

Reports say the gunmen opened fire on the bus which was traveling to Port Harcourt yesterday was taken to an unknown destination by gunmen.
 
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer DSP OMONI NNAMDI said the police have been combing the bushes in the area, in search of the victims.
 
 DSP also assured that the Police have been tightened in the area adding that in no time, the victim will be released.
