The Navy says the development becomes necessary to keep its Operations Watertight on the nation’s waterways.
The Chief of Policy and Plans of the Nigerian Navy, Rear Admiral JACOB AJANI, said the upgrade would enable the naval officers function effectively in keeping Nigeria’s maritime domain safe.
AJANI disclosed that the opportunity was also extended to about forty personnel of the Nigeria Police Force as part of inter-agency cooperation.
He described the development as a great moment for naval operations in the country.
