Rivers Labour chief denies reports on tenureship end of River State Council of the Medical and Health Sector Union of Nigeria.

ITUBO who was the Chairman of the union before handing over to her vice chairman was reacting to claims that a caretaker committee of the union has been formed following the expiration of her tenure.

The Labour leader told correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA that her tenure which was supposed to have ended in 2013 was extended during a national delegate conference of the union.

She said the election of the union which was meant to take place in 2015 but was stopped when the matter was taken to court.
