Reports from Cameroon say children were used as suicide bombers in an attack that hit the country yesterday, which claimed the lives of at least seven people. The attack in the town of Kolofata, near the Nigerian border, is believed to have been carried out by the Boko Haram group. The United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Sahel region, TOBY LANZER, gave this indication in a news interview. LANZER noted that children are easy prey for groups who want to spread terror, particularly children who do not have bright future due to lack of education.
