President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has re-emphasized that his administration remains committed to the Change Agenda of the APC.
He equally urged Nigerians to change their way of doing things at individual levels as a mark of support for the agenda.
In his Independence Day broadcast yesterday; President BUHARI also touched on the issue of electricity power supply, which he promised that his administration would continue to improve.
He equally underscored efforts directed towards sanitizing the oil and gas sector, by eliminating conditions that encourage dubious practices in the export of crude oil and importation of finished products.
The Nigerian leader acknowledged the gains that are being made in the military operation against the Boko Haram insurgency, recalling how he has been going around trying to mobilize an international coalition against the militants since assuming office four months ago.
On the anxiety that trailed the submission of the names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation; President BUHARI blamed the delay to the circumstances leading to the inauguration of the APC Administration on 29th of May.
President BUHARI said his team needed enough time to study the handover note from the past PDP Administration and decide on steps to review the structures of government before deciding on the number of ministers to be appointed.
