President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has approved the compulsory retirement of Justice LAMBO AKANBI of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt for misconduct. This approval is based on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council after its Seventy-Fourth meeting. The Acting Director of Information of the NJC, SOJI OYE said Justice AKANBI’s sack is as a result of various allegations against him, including a petition by Shell Petroleum Development Corporation.
