The Adamawa State Governor MOHAMMADU JIBRILLA has ordered an indefinite ban on all night markets in Yola. Governor JIBRILLA made this known to newsmen after the bomb blast in the state capital on Tuesday. The governor said the ban was part of decisions at an emergency security meeting held at the Government House. He explained that all business premises that attract crowds, particularly night markets, were expected to close by 6PM. The Commissioner for Information, Malam AHMAD SAJOH also added that relaxation joints, particularly those that gather crowds, are affected by the ban.
