The Presidential Committee on North East Initiative is headed by General THEOPHILUS DANJUMA and is saddled is with the responsibility of coordinating reconstruction efforts in the region.
The President said the committee will be the apex coordinating body for all interventions in the region, including those of the family, national and international development partners.
He noted that it is domiciled in the presidency and it is charged with the responsibility for developing the strategy, implementation framework for rebuilding the northeast region.
The Chairman of the committee, General THEOPHILUS DANJUMA also spoke on the challenges ahead.
