The lawmaker representing Port Harcourt Constituency One, VICTORIA NYECHE is also concerned about the trend.
NYECHE is calling on the Rivers State Ministry of Environment to adopt measures to tackle the problem in line with the Port Harcourt drainage master plan.
The lawmaker also advised residents of Port Harcourt State Constituency One to make sure that the drainage around their neighbourhood are not blocked with wastes.
