Oluremi Tinubu Urges Women to Support One Another for Greater Leadership Roles

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged women to support one another in order to break barriers and attain greater leadership positions, saying collaboration and excellence remain key to success. She made the call while receiving the President-elect of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya (SAN), at her office in Abuja.

According to a statement by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, the First Lady congratulated Badejo-Okusanya on her historic election, describing it as an inspiration to women across Nigeria. She said the achievement sends a strong message that women can attain leadership positions through dedication, excellence, and mutual support.

Senator Tinubu encouraged women to continue supporting one another in their pursuit of leadership and national development, noting that Badejo-Okusanya’s emergence as the first elected female President of the NBA demonstrates the growing impact of women in leadership across the country.
