Okoye Commits Future to Udinese Amid Transfer Speculation

Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Italian Serie A side Udinese, insisting he remains fully committed to the club.

The 26-year-old had been linked with a transfer to Juventus following an impressive campaign in which he kept 10 clean sheets in 30 league appearances for Udinese.

Speaking on his future, Okoye said he still has career ambitions but is currently focused on helping Udinese, adding that he is not thinking about a move elsewhere.

The Nigerian international, who has two years remaining on his contract, said football can change quickly but stressed that, for now, he is “100 per cent Udinese professional.”

Okoye joined Udinese from English Championship side Watford in 2023 and is expected to feature when the club begins its 2026/27 season with a Coppa Italia fixture against Padova on August 15.
