Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers was on target as Panathinaikos secured a 2-1 away victory over Levadiakos in the Greek Super League on Monday night.
Panathinaikos took an early lead after just three minutes when Levadiakos defender Giannis Kosti inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
The hosts were reduced to ten men around the hour mark after Panagiotis Simelidis was shown a straight red card.
Dessers was introduced in the 68th minute, replacing Andrews Tetteh, and made an immediate impact by scoring shortly after his arrival to double Panathinaikos’ lead.
The Nigerian forward has now scored four goals in four appearances across all competitions for Panathinaikos this season.
