Ogoniland Development Advancing, No Justification to Delay Oil Production – Gani Topba

The leader of the Conscience of Ogoni People, Gani Topba, has declared that development in Ogoniland is moving forward at a commendable pace and has urged stakeholders to support renewed oil production in the region.

Speaking on the state of progress, Topba noted that with the federal government now paying closer attention to the needs of Ogoniland, there is no longer any justification for delaying oil exploration and production activities in the area.

Topba also addressed misconceptions surrounding the Federal University of Environment and Technology, clarifying that the institution is not meant solely for the Ogoni people, but rather for the benefit of the entire country.

He called for collective efforts to improve living conditions and infrastructure in Ogoniland, urging political leaders in the region to take initiative and lead by example in advancing the region’s development agenda.
