The Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Aboiya-a Bob-Fubara, has assured residents of Kula Community of his administration’s continued commitment to their welfare and security.
The Chairman gave the assurance when the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Kula Kingdom, His Royal Highness Kroma Eleki, led the leadership of the kingdom on a visit to his office in Abonnema.
Bob-Fubara said his administration operates an open-door policy and is willing to consider advice and recommendations that could contribute to the development of the local government area.
The Council Chairman also promised to collaborate with the leadership of Kula Kingdom to address some of the concerns raised during the meeting.
He said he would join the community in interfacing with the Rivers State Police Command on the need for increased deployment of security personnel to Kula Community.
Earlier, the spokesman for the delegation, Waripakapuari Egbelekro, highlighted some of the challenges confronting the community and appealed to the Council Chairman to intervene in the areas of security and electricity.
