You may recall that the JOE AJERO led faction of the NLC had broken out to form the ULC after several attempt to reconcile with the AYUBA WABBA faction failed.
The Chairman of the ULC in Rivers State, WILLIAMS ADAH while speaking in an interview with correspondent CHIINEDU IWUNNA, assured that the inauguration of the council would be conducted before the 2017 May Day Celebration.
He said the registration process has already concluded, stressing that ULC has come to stay.
ADAH said the state government as a matter of law has no option but recognize any union which has been duly registered.
The Labour Leader also disassociated the ULC from the on-going logger heads between the NLC, TUC and the State government.
That was the ULC Chairman in Rivers State, WILLIAMS ADAH.
