Reports say several bodies have been pulled from a vast rubbish dump in the Ethiopian capita, while dozens of people remain unaccounted for.
Ethiopian authorities fear the death toll could rise even further, as rescuers are using bulldozers and their bare hands to move tonnes of debris.
The victims are members of families that lived in makeshift houses near the dumpsite.
The Minister of Communication, NEGERI LENCHO has said all survivors will be resettled elsewhere.
