He becomes the thirty-eighth Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, taking over from C.P FRANCIS ODESANYA who died in office.
Before moving to Rivers State; C.P ZAKI AHMED was service in Bauchi State as Commissioner of Police.
He had previously served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations at the Rivers State Command.
