For instance; the State Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association is finding it difficult to pay the salaries of its administrative staff due to the development.
State Chairman of NMA, Doctor FURO GREEN complained that the association was erroneously counted as a union under the Nigeria Labour Congress that is currently experiencing leadership dispute.
Doctor GREEN told our correspondent LEVI ISU that the NMA has not received check off dues since December last year due to the NLC crisis.
He maintained that the NMA was not a union under NLC, and called on the Rivers state Government to quickly facilitate the payment of check off dues deducted from salaries of medical doctors on its payroll.
