Ambrose Owuru, a former presidential candidate, has stated that the suspension of Rivers State Governor Siminialaye Fubara will require a court’s interpretation to resolve the matter definitively.
Owuru advised Governor Fubara to seek legal recourse to reclaim the period he was unlawfully suspended, emphasizing the importance of the judiciary in settling such disputes.
Additionally, Owuru criticized the ongoing negotiations between Governor Fubara and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, describing such actions as inconsistent with the character of the Rivers people. He urged that leadership issues be handled appropriately and within the bounds of the law.
