Kano to Deploy 13,200 Computers Across CBT Centres

The Kano State Government is set to deploy 13,200 computers across Computer-Based Test, CBT, centres as part of efforts to strengthen digital infrastructure and improve the conduct of computer-based examinations in the state.

The initiative is expected to increase the capacity of CBT centres and provide students and other examination candidates with better access to functional computers and reliable examination facilities. It is also aimed at supporting the growing shift from paper-based to digital assessments.

The deployment will further strengthen Kano State’s digital education infrastructure and improve access to technology among young people. The state government is expected to use the upgraded facilities to support examinations, digital learning and other technology-driven educational activities.

The move is part of wider efforts to expand digital access and improve the quality of education through technology, while preparing students for an increasingly digital academic and professional environment.
