Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has promised to construct a General Hospital in Etche Local Government Area before the end of his tenure.
Governor Fubara made the promise while commissioning the Egwi-Afara-Mba Road in Etche. He said his administration had commenced the reconstruction and rehabilitation of zonal hospitals across the state and would ensure that Etche benefits from improved healthcare infrastructure.
Speaking on the road project, which was flagged off in 2024, Fubara said construction continued despite the political crisis in the state. He appealed for understanding, noting that his administration had limited time and might not be able to meet every demand, but promised to consider extending the road to Ndashi.
