Former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Doctor NGOZI OKONJO-IWEALA has joined an international financial advisory and investment bank known as Lazard. A report says Doctor OKONJO-IWEALA is to serve as a Senior Adviser of Lazard, and will be responsible for advising countries on structuring their finances and dealing with debt issues. The report said the former World Bank Managing Director has also been appointed as head of the board of GAVI. GAVI is an international public-private partnership committed to saving the lives of children and protecting people’s health by improving access to immunization.
