Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has declared September 2026 a Month of Gratitude as the state prepares to mark its 39th anniversary.
Governor Eno also announced plans to commission 39 projects across the state as part of activities marking the anniversary.
The governor made the announcement during the Victory Thanksgiving Service marking the end of the 2026 Discovery Convention of the All Nations Christian Ministry International, popularly known as The Lord’s Kitchen.
Eno said the projects were part of his administration’s efforts to advance development across the state and improve the lives of residents.
He also disclosed that President Bola Tinubu is expected to pay an official visit to Akwa Ibom State to commission some of the projects executed by his administration.
The governor urged residents to use the anniversary period to reflect on the state’s progress and give thanks for what he described as the achievements recorded in recent years.
