A community source who disclosed the incident to Today Fm correspondent, said the siblings abducted the teenage girl while on a lonely path to her brother’s house in the community.
The Second in Command of the Onelga Security Peace and Advisory Committee, OSPAC, Egi Command, ONELGA, Onuigba Chinonye-Aboy from Erema community told Today fm that his team was on patrol when they met a woman crying over the whereabouts of her 14th year old child.
Chinonye-Aboy said the woman led them to a place where they intercepts two brothers gang raping the teenage girl and apprehended one of the brothers while the other escaped.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent of Police, SP Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the incident and disclosed that the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, CP Olatunji Disu has directed that the suspect as well as the case file be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Port Harcourt.
