The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress has challenged Nyesom Wike to resign as Minister if he intends to actively participate in Rivers State politics.
Responding to Wike’s comments, the APC chieftain said it was inappropriate for a non-member of the party to interfere in its internal affairs. He maintained that as a national officer, he has the right to speak on political developments across the country. The exchange has further heightened political tension surrounding Rivers State ahead of future elections.
