APC Member Tony Okocha Seeks Nyesom Wike’s Support, Cites PDP’s Internal Crisis as Weakness

A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, has revealed efforts to persuade the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to join the APC fold. Okocha emphasized that he is actively working to bring Wike into the party, citing political alignment and strategic interests.

Okocha also criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), asserting that internal crises within the party have rendered it too weak and lacking in potential to effectively challenge the ruling parties.

Speaking on APC’s recent victory in last Saturday’s local government elections, Okocha credited the success to the support of President Bola Tinubu. He expressed confidence that the party’s triumph was a testament to the President’s leadership and the party’s growing influence in Rivers State.
