The Rivers State chapter of the APC has declared that the outcome of its governorship primary election has further strengthened unity within the party. Speaking shortly after the announcement of results, the party’s spokesperson, Chibuike Ikenga, said the emergence of Kingsley Chinda as the flag bearer shows that the party is united and committed to winning the 2027 governorship election.
Ikenga said the process demonstrated internal cohesion and discipline among party members, stressing that the APC in Rivers State is now more focused on consolidating its structures ahead of the general elections. He added that the party would work collectively to ensure victory at all levels.
