Amorim Rules Out Summer Exit for Chukwueze

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze will remain at the club this summer, putting an end to speculation over his future.

Speaking during his first press conference as Milan head coach, Amorim said Chukwueze remains an important part of his plans because of his ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.

The Portuguese coach stressed that he intends to assess the players already in the squad before looking to strengthen the team with new signings.

Chukwueze recently returned to AC Milan after Fulham declined to activate the option to make his loan move permanent at the end of last season.

The Nigeria international had also attracted interest from Turkish club Trabzonspor, but reports suggest he prefers to remain at the San Siro and fight for a place under the club’s new manager.

The 27-year-old is expected to report for pre-season training as AC Milan begin preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.
