Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis has completed his move to United Arab Emirates club Al Jazira from Turkish side Göztepe.
Al Jazira confirmed the signing of the 22-year-old midfielder in a statement on its official X account, describing Dennis as a new addition to the club’s squad.
Dennis joined Göztepe from HB Academy in Abuja in January 2023 and initially featured for the club’s U-19 team before progressing to the senior side.
He made his professional debut for Göztepe in a 1-1 draw against Çorum in January 2024 and later played a key role in the club’s promotion to the Turkish Süper Lig.
Dennis went on to make 83 appearances for Göztepe across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
The former Super Eagles invitee now begins a new chapter with Al Jazira in the UAE Pro League after attracting interest from clubs in several European countries.
