NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, IBIKUNLE DARAMOLA, made this known in a statement circulated in the media.
DARAMOLA said the affected senior officers comprise thirteen Air Commodores, who were promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshals, thirty-five Group Captains who were promoted to the rank of Air Commodores and fifty-one Wing Commanders promoted to the rank of Group Captains.
NAF Spokesman, DARAMOLA said the newly promoted senior officers would be decorated with their new ranks at a later date.
The Nigerian Army Council also announced approval of the promotion of senior officers to the next ranks of Major General and Brigadier General respectively.
