Parry,Dakuku mourn Cp Odesanya.

Senator MAGNUS ABE expressed regret that CP ODESANYA died at a critical period when his professional service, competence and capabilities were needed in containing threats to national security and ensuring a crime free society.

According to a statement issued in Port Harcourt by his spokesperson, PARRY SAROH BENSON, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, said late CP ODESANYA was a true professional who carried out his duties with a sense of responsibility, commitment and diligence. 

On his party; the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, DAKUKU PETERSIDE described the death of serving Rivers Commissioner of Police, as a big loss to the nation.

PETERSIDE said the nation has been robbed of a fine officer and gentleman, who rose through the ranks before he was posted to Rivers State to help curtail the activities of criminal elements.

The 2015 governorship candidate of the APC sympathized with the Inspector General of Police and the Police Service Commission over the unfortunate loss.

He observed that for the few months late CP ODESANYA was in Rivers State, he showed the attributes of a good leader, who was ready to lead from the front and provide direction for the rank and file.
