UGO-NGADI’s sentence was handed down by Justice LATEEFA OKUNNU of the Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja.
The sentencing of the woman, who is the Managing Director of Ontario Oil and Gas Limited, came two weeks after she was convicted by court of charges relating to a one point nine billion naira fraud.
UGO-NGADI was arraigned together with three other accused persons, and reports from the court say she collapsed as Justice OKUNNU was reading out the sentence.
She had also fainted in court during her conviction two weeks ago.
