Again,Rivers PDP,APC at loggerheads.

This time, the arch political rivals are quarrelling over the impact of APC chieftains who are holding top positions in the federal government.

State Chairman of the PDP, FELIX OBUAH, believes that former Governor and Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI AMAECHI, has not done much for Rivers people since he assumed that position.

In a statement released by his media assistant, OBUAH also threw snide at the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, DAKUKU PETERSIDE.

OBUAH said it was time for AMAECHI and PETERSIDE to give account to Rivers people about the benefits to the state since they were appointed into positions at the federal level.

But in its reactions; the APC lashed at the PDP Chairman over what it described as his warped understanding of dividend of democracy and good governance.

State Publicity Secretary of APC, CHRIS FINEBONE, suggested the PDP’s understanding of dividend of democracy is looting and sharing the commonwealth of the people amongst party cabal.

The Rivers APC spokesman maintained that the individuals appointed into office by the Buhari Administration are committed people.

CHRIS FINEBONE noted that the Federal appointees are there to serve Nigerians well, stressing that Rivers people will get their fair share of democratic dividend.

CHRIS FINEBONE is the Publicity Secretary of APC in Rivers State.
