The Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN said Bille community in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State has benefited from the free medical outreach.
In a statement; the Army spokesman said over five hundred people were touched by the programmed by troops of Two Brigade of Eighty-Two Division.
He said the medical outreached covered free consultation and diagnosis, as well as eye care, blood pressure checks, free drugs, blood tests and counselling services.
Colonel USMAN said a similar exercise was held simultaneously at Nembe Ogbolomabiri and Bassambiri communities in Bayelsa State.
He said through the programme, the Two Brigade was able to sensitize the communities on Operation CROCODILE SMILE, as the people were enjoined to go about their normal businesses.
