Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the aggrieved farmers, who are meanly women numbering about two hundred, matched to the ONELGA Council Secretariat to register their complaints.

The spokesperson for the group, PRECIOUS NZE alleged that the herdsmen invade their farms armed with rifle, leaving destruction on their trail.

PRECIOUS NZE also accused the herdsmen of raping unsuspecting women and stealing crops from farms of local inhabitants.

The protesting farmers urged the authorities of ONELGA council to direct the herdsmen to relocate from their villages to avoid a breakdown of law and order.
