Army arrest suspected Boko Haram terrorists allegedly planting land mines along main supply route of troops north-east.

A statement released by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN identified the suspected terrorist as LAWAN ABBAI.

The statement disclosed that the suspected was arrested by troops who had embarked on clearing of land mines and Improvised Explosive at Gombori.

The army spokesman said the troops recovered two heavy IEDs buried in the ground by suspected remnants of Boko Haram terrorists.

He said the troops also intercepted four fleeing Boko Haram suspect, and also rescued five women and a baby from Boko Haram terrorists.
